SAP Project Manager – Middletown, PA (Remote for Now)

Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Currently Remote (candidates within 1.5 hours of Middletown, PA preferred; may transition to hybrid)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Project Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple IT projects of varying complexity. The role involves managing internal and external teams, maintaining project plans, coordinating with business stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate activities of internal/external staff across multiple IT projects.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, artifacts, and documentation using PTC or other established project management standards.

  • Collaborate with business owners and analysts to define and refine project scope.

  • Perform project management duties across the entire project lifecycle: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing.

  • Conduct lessons learned sessions to identify recommendations for improvement.

  • Maintain productive working relationships with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and clients.

  • Adhere to the PTC PMO Playbook and associated artifacts.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience across projects of varying size and complexity.

  • Expertise in integration, scope, schedule, cost, communication, vendor, and risk management.

  • Preferred Certifications & Experience:

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

    • ServiceNow (Idea, Project, and Demand modules)

    • Enterprise Business Solutions, specifically SAP projects

    • ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies

Engagement Requirements:

  • Candidate should preferably be located within the Continental United States.

  • Must successfully complete ePATCH and ClearChecks National Criminal Background Check prior to engagement start.

  • Overtime requires prior approval from Project Principal with valid justification.

  • Primarily remote position, but occasional reporting to Commission headquarters may be required.

  • Travel reimbursement must adhere to federal GSA guidelines (hotel, mileage, meals) and include receipts.

  • No additional compensation for travel within a 3-hour commute; rate is inclusive of travel costs.
